As Don DeSpain and his wife, Ann, sat down waiting to enjoy their Valentine’s Day dinner at Outback Steakhouse, suddenly a barbershop quartet surrounded Ann and presented her with a red rose and a box of chocolates.

Don had arranged the whole thing with The Surfside Chorus Singing Valentine Group, as a surprise for his valentine.

“It couldn’t have been more perfect. The entire restaurant got a kick out of it,” Don DeSpain said.

DeSpain, of course, got help from Manager Paul Barnes, who let the singing group in the back door, directed them to where the couple was seated, and took pictures.
