Guests at the Holiday Inn, located at 200 Flagler Plaza Drive, in Palm Coast, were evacuated Saturday afternoon after the fire sprinklers flooded the first and second floors shortly before 2 p.m., according to a press release by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.

The Palm Coast Fire Department, Flagler County Fire Rescue and Flagler County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene.

Firefighters did not find a fire, but were working to determine what set the sprinkler system off, the report states.

Deputies said hotel staff relocated all guests from the hotel to another one in the area while the building was being checked.
