After publishing 104 consecutive Thursdays, The Observer will begin its third year by shifting to two days per week — Wednesdays and Saturdays — beginning Feb. 8.

As always, our mission is to provide the best possible coverage of you, your neighbors and your neighborhood in Palm Coast. Publishing twice per week will help us to be more informative, timely and entertaining.

Advertisers are on board, and we expect that in the coming months and years the total number of pages per week will continue to grow.

Readership demand remains high for The Observer, as well, which gives us confidence heading into our new production schedule.

Our website will remain largely unchanged, with daily news, neighborhood and sports updates at www.PalmCoastObserver.com. Our Facebook page is a great way to keep up with the web stories, and it is also becoming a strong community forum, with more than 3,500 fans.

So, don’t be alarmed when you get The Observer a day early next week. The first Wednesday edition is a sign of good things to follow — starting with the Saturday, Feb. 11, edition.

Email editor@palmcoast observer.com with your input as to what we should be writing about in each edition.
