Palm Coast first-grader Tessa Carlisi, 7, won first place for her age group Jan. 28, at the Eighth Diocesan Elementary Art Show, at Bishop Moore Catholic High School.
Student artists and their families gathered to view the juried event, which celebrates the fine arts in kindergarten through eighth grade. More than 30 elementary schools participated.
Carlisi attends St. Brendan School, in Ormond Beach.
