The NAACP ACT-SO program raised money during a fundraising luncheon at the Palm Coast Community Center to underwrite its enrichment program for talented area students.
ACT-SO, which stands for Academic, Cultural, and Technological Scientific Olympics, is a youth initiative that provides a platform for students to showcase their talents and be recognized for their achievements.
The funds received will pay expenses for students selected to participate in the national ACT-SO competition July 5 to July 9, in Houston.
