Taco Bell tussle
12:15 a.m. — Ashford Lakes Drive. Physical disturbance. A woman said her boyfriend, who was staying with her, pushed her and took her car keys from her after she tried to drive to Taco Bell to get food. Her boyfriend said she couldn’t drive because she had been drinking and took some medication. The woman insisted she was not intoxicated and said her medication was prescribed for depression. She said she did not wish to press charges against her boyfriend and she was uninjured, but that she was only upset because things weren’t working out between her and her boyfriend.
The victim’s boyfriend said he only grabbed his girlfriend by the shirt to prevent her from driving while intoxicated. He gave the officer who responded a set of keys to his girlfriend’s vehicle. The victim declined to press charges against her boyfriend.
