Barbara Ann Germack, daughter of Frank and Dorothy Germack, of Bunnell, and Jared Davis Smith, son of Sam and Kim Smith, of Flagler Beach, married June 30, at Old Salt Park, in Hammock Beach.
The two are life-long residents of Flagler County and both attended Flagler Palm Coast High School.
“We knew of each other in school but didn't ever see each other again until we reconnected just prior to our 10-year high school reunion,” Barbara said.
It was at the reunion when they were really able to sit and talk to one another. The relationship took off from there.
Jared proposed five months later during an evening stroll down a dock in St. Augustine. Seven months after he proposed, they were married.
