Palm Coast Gymnastics athletes Hannah Wisniewski and Sierra Nibbe recently participated in the Level 8 regional championships,at the Silver Spurs Arena, in Kissimmee.
The two competed against more than 350 gymnasts from Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana.
Wisniewski and Nibbe both posted their highest all-around scores at this competition: 36.850 and 36.575, respectively.
Nibbe placed fourth on the uneven bars with a score of 9.350.
“Their daily hard work in the gym paid off, and as a coach I couldn’t be happier with their performance,” Kelly Hesbeens said. “With so much going on around them on the competition floor, they stayed focused on what they had to do and nailed routine after routine. These girls have a great future ahead of them.”
