Residents are invited to an April 13 and April 14 informational fair about the Neighborhood Stabilization program. The 2012 Home Fair, sponsored by Flagler County, Palm Coast, the Flagler County Association of Realtors and the Mid-Florida Housing Partnership, will focus on topics such as home rehabilitation and foreclosure-prevention options.

On both days, a ‘Lunch and Learn’ event will take place 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., aimed at teaching potential homeowners how Palm Coast/Flagler County’s Neighborhood Stabilization Programs can assist with owner-occupied home rehabilitation, how to find a realtor, qualify for a mortgage and understand more about credit scores.

A two-day Foreclosure Prevention Outreach event will also be held on the same dates, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Residents can meet with home preservation specialists from Fannie Mae, Bank of America, Chase and GMAC and HUD housing counselors for advice on how to avoid foreclosure.

Both events will be held at the Flagler County Association of Realtors building at 4101 State Road 100 in Bunnell. Homeowners should come prepared with pay stubs, income documentation, Federal Income Tax returns, proof of property taxes and insurance.

Appointments can also be made, at 274-4441 or 1-800-644-6125.
