American Legion Auxiliary 115 representatives Betsy Klitch, Cynthia Rutigliano and Mary Ann Reese selected Gabriella Giuliano as the Flagler Palm Coast High School Girls Sate delegate.
Katie Young will serve as the alternate.
Girls State is a one-week leadership course in state and local government to offer youth a better perspective to the practical operation of government and to show that the individual is responsible for the character and success of government.
Giuliano is an international baccalaureate diploma candidate. She is one of the founding members of the school’s Young Republicans Club, participates in musical theater at the Flagler Playhouse and has recently joined the Flagler County Tobacco Free Partnership.
Young has served as the Bunnell FFA president and student adviser, is a member of the Student Government Association and plays varsity lacrosse.
