Flagler Palm Coast High School ended the day Thursday, March 29, with a Positive Behavior Supports dance party for about 1,800 students who were referral-free during the third nine-week portion of the school year.

The program starts in the classroom with teachers rewarding positive behavior and continues schoolwide with drawings every Friday for prizes and candy. Teachers and administrators hand out drawing tickets to reward students who demonstrate the characteristics of the Bulldog Expectations: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe and Be Engaged.

At the end of each nine weeks there is a special event to reward all the students who have not received a referral during that marking period.

Last week’s assembly was a talent-show preview, featuring the school's Supremacy dance team and several singing acts that will be featured in the April 12 talent show. The preview also included two performances by teachers and staff.
