Less adoptable pets look for owners

Joy is a 2-year-old, vaccinated, and spayed hound-German shepherd mix. She is currently being treated for heartworms.

Joy is housebroken, good with dogs, cats and kids, according to the shelter.

Starlet is a 6-month-old, vaccinated and spayed domestic short hair.

She only has one eye, because the other one had to be removed due to a severe infection as a kitten.

To meet Joy and Starlet, visit the Second Chance Rescue adoptions, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays, at PetSmart, 5270 E. State Road 100.

Sharlet is a 7-month-old, five-pound calico. She is playful and loves to give kisses, according to the shelter.

Tommy is a 1-year-old, 49-pound Labrador mix. He does not get along with cats, according to the shelter. He is looking for a home where he can play.
