Tyler Rockey, son of Kim and Dr. Pat Rockey, of Flagler Beach, recently got engaged to Lauren Unger, daughter of Mary and Edwin Unger, of Port St. Lucie.
Lauren is a senior vet student at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, and Tyler is currently the general manager of Hibbett Sports, in Gainesville.
The two met through mutual friends, in 2007, while attending the University of Florida.
In August, during a summer vacation to Colorado, Tyler proposed while hiking in Aspen, at Maroon Bells.
The outdoor enthusiasts will say, “I do,” April 14, 2012.
