Netts, 54%, re-elected as Palm Coast's mayor

Incumbent Jon Netts earned another five years as Palm Coast's mayor Tuesday night, grabbing 2,848 votes, or 54.29%.

Netts defeated Charles Ericksen Jr., who had 2,145 votes, or 40.89%, and Joe Cunnane, who had 253 votes, or 4.82%.

The results, according to the Supervisor of Elections website, will be unofficial until Sept. 16, when the Palm Coast Canvassing Board meets.

Additionally, an amendment to the Palm Coast City Charter was approved with 86.56% in favor of moving the city's elections to even-numbered years.
