11:59 a.m. UPDATE
Lockdowns of two Flagler County schools has been lifted after Flagler County Sheriff’s deputies apprehended three suspected home burglars shortly before 11:30 a.m. Monday.
Deputies responded to a report of a burglary in progress around 10:20 a.m. Monday on Brunswick Lane, in Palm Coast. One suspect was found outside the home with a gunshot wound. He was airlifted to Halifax Hospital. His condition is unknown. Detectives are investigating the shooting. No deputies were involved in the shooting. Two other supsects were located inside a duplex on Brelyn Lane, in Palm Coast. Both are currently being questioned by Sheriff’s detectives. Charges are pending.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has been called to the scene to assist in the investigation.
Air One, from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, assisted the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office in searching for the suspects.

Two Flagler County schools are currently under a lockdown while Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputies search for possible burglary suspects in a home burglary that occurred around 10:20 a.m. Monday.
Indian Trails Middle School and Belle Terre Elementary School have been locked down as a precautionary measure.
Deputies, assisted by K-9 units, were searching an area near Brunswick Lane, Pine Lakes Parkway, Palm Coast Parkway west and Belle Terre Parkway for a vehicle thought to be used in the burglary.
Some traffic interruption may occur on these roadways and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
