The Imagination Library of Flagler County is offering another choice for Valentine’s Day gifts this year.
Instead of the traditional flowers or chocolate, the group is asking people to express their love of reading by sponsoring a year of books for a Flagler County child in honor of a loved one.
“I think it is a great idea,” says Linda Mahran, of Palm Coast, “I don’t want candy and flowers for Valentine’s Day, but a gift of literacy to children in my own community is a wonderful gift. I love it.”
To sponsor a child, visit www.FlaglerImaginationLibrary.org and click on the Valentine’s Day fundraising link. When you donate, you will be provided a link to send to your Valentine to let her or him know about your gift.
