The city of Palm Coast donated $2,796.95 to the Florida Hospital Flagler Foundation cancer fund last week, which will be used to help provide mammogram screenings, diagnostic studies and education to patients who are uninsured and seeking assistance.

Funds for the donation were collected from the first-annual Pink Army Run proceeds, held Oct. 27.

More than 350 runners participated in the inaugural event.
