The first grade at Bunnell Elementary School collected loose change to help the Flagler Humane Society. Representatives made a donation, Dec. 20, of $75.76 to the Humane Society.

The students even made holiday cards for the animals.

“We had been discussing our community in social studies,” said teacher Mary Narin. “Adding good character, responsibility, the children wanted to do a community project.”
