Recycle your Christmas tree and receive a free three-gallon evergreen tree in exchange from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at the city’s fuel depot, 22 Utility Drive.

This is Palm Coast’s fifth-annual Christmas tree recycling event.

Other items will be accepted, too, such as your used VCRs, TVs, CDs, or DVD players. At this year’s event, you may also recycle old Christmas tree lights, Styrofoam and gift wrap.

All trees donated for recycling will be ground and used as mulch to beautify foliage across Palm Coast.
City staff requests that residents please remove all decorations, lights, tinsel and ornaments from trees prior to donation.

For more information, go to the city’s website at www.palmcoastgov.com or contact Carol Bennett at 986-3722.
