Twenty teachers in the Flagler County School District attended conferences and workshops in 2011.

The total cost, $8,426.88, was approved in a November meeting of the School Board. Reimbursement of that money will come from each individual school.

Also requested at the meeting was for Ken Seybold, athletics director for Matanzas High School, to attend the 42nd-annual National Athletics Directors conference Dec. 9 to Dec. 12, in Indianapolis.
