Kirt Smith, 15, is listed in critical condition after he was struck by a vehicle on Seminole Woods Parkway.
Gary Woods, 31, was driving a Ford F-150 at 8:40 p.m. Aug. 26. According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, Woods did not see Smith, who was on a bicycle. Both were traveling southbound, south of State Road 100.
Woods’ vehicle struck the front of Smith, propelling him southward. Due to critical injuries, Smith was transported to Halifax Trauma.
Smith was not wearing a helmet.
