The following is an adapted press release from the Family Life Center:
The Family Life Center board elected new officers for 2011-2012.
The new board members are as follow: The Rev. Brad Hauff, president; Willard Anderson, vice president; Agnes Lightfoot, treasurer; and Kathie Hopkins Anderson, secretary. The officers will serve a one-year term.
The Family Life Center is a private nonprofit service organization that provides services to families experiencing domestic/sexual Violence. All services are provided without cost to the clients.
The Family Life Center maintains a 24-hour hotline (437-3505), as well as an emergency shelter that houses women and their children who are fleeing abusive situations.
The Family Life Center provides shelter at another location for men and their children who are escaping from abusive situations.
The Family Life Center also maintains an outreach center that provides men, women and children with free comprehensive case management and crisis counseling to individuals suffering from current or past abusive situations.
