Matthew Schagen, son of Suzann and Scott Schagen, of Palm Coast, and Sheryl Schagen, of Titusville, recently got engaged to Lauren Weeks, daughter of J.C. and Melinda Weeks, of Titusville.
Matthew is serving in the U.S. Navy and is currently stationed in Japan.
Lauren attends the University of Central Florida, where she is working on a bachelor’s in psychology, and is employed at Publix Supermarkets.
The couple is planning a January 2012 wedding.
