Palm Coast candidates file fundraising reports

A total of $19,799.15 had been raised by eight candidates for mayor and City Council seats in the 2011 Palm Coast municipal elections, as of June 30. The mayor's race will have a primary Sept. 13.


Mayor

Incumbent Jon Netts, who will run for mayor, has a total of $2,375 to spend, including $2,000 in a loan from himself. Flagler County Clerk of Courts Gail Wadsworth and City Council member Mary DiStefano donated $100 to his campaign.

Charles Ericksen Jr., who is running for Palm Coast mayor, had raised $2,099 for his campaign through June 30. Among the contributions are $100 from resident Glenn Laury, $120 from McLaughlin Realty and $200 from Robert D. Williams, doing business as Williams Mini Warehouse.

Previously, he gave himself a loan for $150 and received contributions of $250 from Jack Howell, $200 from Theodore Perkovich and $100 from Raymond Stevens.

By way of full disclosure, Ericksen has spent $77.76 in advertising with the Palm Coast Observer.

Mayor candidate Joe Cunnane has raised $1,620, including $1,170 in loans from himself. Santos Rodriguez donated $200.

Raymond Minami, the 18-year-old candidate for mayor, has raise $27, all of which came in a cash donation from himself.


City Council Seat 1

Holsey Moorman, incumbent running for re-election in City Council Seat 1, has raised $6,080. He loaned himself $1,000 and also received contributions from David and Wendy Ottati for $400, Barbara and Ho Holley for $500, Naomi and Arthur McLaurin for $200 and Robert Williams for $200.

William McGuire is running for City Council Seat 1. He has raised $1,471. McGuire’s contributions include $100 from Glenn Laury. By way of full disclosure, he has spent $77.76 in advertising with the Palm Coast Observer.



City Council Seat 3

City Council candidate Dennis Cross reported $3,232 in camp in campaign contributions — including a $1,000 loan from himself.

He has received donations of $100 from Glenn Laury, Joseph Sanchez, Barbara Kurp, Raymond Stevens, Rodolfo Roberts, Mary Alice Brandt, Gregory Hansen, Frank Bothelho, Joseph Sanchez, Claudia Towne, Roger Hurst, Leonard Dignard and Robert Buck. He received a $500 donation from Lucy Crowley.

Jason DeLorenzo has raised a total of $2,895.15. His top cash contribution came from builder Dan Camp. County Commissioner Barbara Revels also donated $100 to his campaign. Preferred Management Services, owned by Flagler County Chamber of Commerce & Affiliates Chairwoman Lea Stokes, donated $150.
