At the opening of its April Spring Festival event, the Flagler County Art League presented The Flagler Humane Society with a check for $500, thanks to their collaborative efforts in the league’s March show, Alms for the Paw.

The animal-and-pet-themed fundraiser art show was sponsored by both organizations working together for the first time.

In addition to the $500 for the Humane Society, another $25 went to another pet support group, Gainesville Rabbit Rescue, which helps the Humane Society place abandoned rabbits in foster care.
