City Construction Manager Carl Cote has compiled a full list of sidewalks currently under construction or to be developed in Palm Coast, along with costs and timelines corresponding to each. Project funding numbers are based on grant projections from March 16.

The project plans include four major sidewalk designs, totaling nearly 11 miles of newly constructed pathways.

Below is the list issued by the city, in order of planned completion date.

RYMFIRE MULTI-USE PATH
Specs: Carter Park to Lehigh Trail; concrete; 0.5 miles / 10-feet wide
Design‐build: Under design – 90% complete
Construction: To begin April 2011
Anticipated construction completion: August 2011

Anticipated project funding (city funds 40% / grant funds 60%)
TOTAL: $671,142.99

BELLE TERRE PKWY & BLVD MULTI-USE PATH
Specs: 4.75 miles / 10-feet wide; includes landscape buffer
Design‐build (phase three): Under design – 15% complete
Anticipated construction completion: September 2011

*The first path segment begins at Pine Grove Drive/Belle Terre Parkway intersection (current end of Phase One Multi‐Use Path project) and extends south on the east side of Belle Terre to county trail system. The second path segment begins at State Road 100/Belle Terre Parkway Intersection and extends south on the west side of Belle Terre Parkway to U.S. 1/Belle Terre Parkway intersection.

Anticipated project funding (city 3% / grant 97%)
TOTAL: $1,731,819.00

WHITEVIEW PKWY MULTI-USE PATH
Specs: Asphalt; 2.4 miles / 12-feet wide; includes landscape buffer
Design‐build (Phase two)
Anticipated construction completion: September 2011

*Segment one will provide a connection from existing Pine Lakes Multi‐Use Path at the intersection of Pine Lakes Parkway and Whitemill Drive, and will extend south on the west side of White Mill Drive, at which point it will cross White View Parkway to the south side and extend east to the intersection of Whiteview Parkway and Ravenwood Drive. Segment two will begin at intersection of Whiteview Parkway and Belle Terre Parkway and extend east on the south side of Whiteview Parkway to the intersection of Pine Grove Drive and Whiteview Parkway.

Anticipated project funding (city 5% / grant 94%)
TOTAL: $747,552.75


PALM HARBOR PKWY MULTI-USE PATH
Specs: Asphalt; 3.2 miles / 10-feet wide; includes landscape buffer and three prefabricated bridges
Design‐build: Bids Received. Final project funding not finalized as Florida Department of Transportation may have supplemental funds to be added to the project. Currently in review for cost-saving solutions.

*The project will result in a connection from an existing trail system (trailhead under toll bridge) to Fernmill Drive. This link will provide a connection to Mantanzas High School (final connection is part of road realignment project), city of Palm Coast streets and pedestrian pathways in residential neighborhoods, as well as a connection to future Longs Landing Estuary Park/Education Center

No anticipated funding has been projected at this time.
