Special Projects Coordinator Sabrina Crosby announced to the Flagler County School Board Tuesday, March 6, that the district’s mandatory uniforms policy, to go into effect next school year, is now posted online, along with a questions-and-answer forum and a school-by-school color chart.
As of Monday, March 5, Crosby said, questions were coming in at a pace of about one per hour. She and Superintendent Janet Valentine will work on posting answers to all questions.
Final approval for the draft policy (“We’re really not referring to this as a uniform policy; we’re referring to it as a uniform dress code,” Director of Student Services Katrina Townsend said) will take place 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at the Government Services Building.
