Vincent and Evie Pace, of 6 Boulder Rock Drive, have been recognized as the November Selection of the Month by The Garden Club at Palm Coast.

Over the years, the Paces have planted a wide variety of plants. The front yard is colorful, with the light blue flowers of plumbago, yellow zinnias, red knockout roses, several colors of impatiens, mandevilla, blue daze and purple lantana.

Other plants include variegated dogwood, Yaupon holly, Leyland and Italian cypress, loquat, bougainvillea, and a podocarpus hedge. The sides of the house are planted with crepe myrtle, ligustrum, viburnum, heavenly bamboo, and dwarf Nellie Stevens holly, a shrub that can be used as a privacy screen.

The back of the property overlooks a freshwater lake where pampas grass, azaleas, camellias, roses, a banana tree, fruit trees and Palatka holly are growing.
