Olive Garden, Red Lobster announce opening day

Get your chef’s hats on. Hiring at Olive Garden and Red Lobster, owned by Darden, will begin Feb. 9. Rich Jeffers, director of media relations, said via e-mail that 214 culinary and service positions are expected to be filled. Candidates may apply in person at the restaurants.
 

Beginning at 4 p.m. March 7, the restaurants will open for business — for dinner only. Lunch menus will be available beginning March 12.
