Tropical Storm Andrea continues to weaken as it pours rain far away from the center, which is located about 40 miles west of Jacksonville, according to the latest update from the National Hurricane Center.
Maximum sustained winds have dropped to about 45 mph. The present movement is northeast at 15 mph.
A tropical storm warning continues to remain in effect for Flagler County.

The latest public advisory by the National Hurricane Center has Tropical Storm Andrea about 15 miles north-northeast of Cross City.
Maximum sustained winds have decreased to 50 mph, and the storm is moving northeast at 15 mph.
Tropical Storm Andrea made landfall around 5:45 p.m. in Dixie County.
The tornado watch in Flagler County has been canceled, according to the National Weather Service.

Maximum winds have increased to 65 mph, and the storm is moving northeast at 17 mph, according to the advisory.

Tropical Storm Andrea has begun to move onto Florida’s west coast, according to public advisory No. 4A issued by the National Hurricane Center.
The storm is located about 35 miles west-southwest of Cedar Key, moving northeast at 15 mph.
Local conditions are expected to deteriorate into the afternoon and evening.
Maximum sustained winds are 60 mph.
Flagler County is also in a tropical storm warning until 8:15 p.m., and a tornado watch until 10 p.m.
Flagler County continues to be under a flood watch until 8 p.m. Friday.

A tropical storm warning is now in effect for Flagler County.
Tropical Storm Andrea strengthened overnight, and now has maximum sustained winds of 60 mph, according to the 8 a.m. update by the National Hurricane Center.
The storm is moving north-northeast at 14 mph. It is currently about 160 miles west of Tampa.
A tropical storm warning means that tropical storm conditions are expected somewhere within the warning area within 36 hours.
A flood watch also remains in effect for Flagler County until 8 p.m. Friday.

Tropical Storm Andrea, the first named storm of the 2013 Atlantic hurricane season, has formed off Florida’s west coast, in the Gulf of Mexico, and is bearing down on Florida.
A tropical storm warning has been issued for the west coast of Florida, which means that tropical storm conditions are expected somewhere within 36 hours.
A tropical storm watch has been issued for the east coast of the U.S., from Flagler Beach to Surf City, N.C., according to the National Weather Service. A tropical storm watch means that tropical storm conditions are possible within the watch area, generally within 48 hours.
As of 6 p.m. Wednesday, Tropical Storm Andrea was located about 310 miles southwest of Tampa, moving toward the north at about 3 mph. Maximum sustained winds were about 40 mph as of the 6 p.m. update. A turn toward the northeast is expected over night and into Thursday.
A flood watch will be in effect from 2 a.m. Thursday until about 2 p.m. Friday.
Another update from the National Hurricane Center is expected around 8 p.m.
