Bunnell Elementary School held its schoolwide Tropicana Speeches last week. The winners are as follows: fourth grade, first place, Isabella Scarcella, “Second-Hand Smoke”; second place, Natalie Velez, “Life Cycle of a Butterfly”; third place, Haliegh Gilloz, “Homework is Bad for Your Health”; fifth grade, first place, Anisa Zwolinski, “How to Turn My Brother into a Monster”; second place, Selena Munoz, “My Uncle, My Hero”; third place, Michael Pierre, “Modified Snail”; third, Alex Skrypek, “Fossil Fuel”; and sixth grade, first place, Andrew Secunda, “The Origins of Clichés and Idioms”; second place, Austin Branning, “Michael Jackson, My Inspiration”; and third place, Mackenzie Latham, “Why Every Student Needs a Cell Phone.”
