The Flagler Palm Coast High School Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 15 new members Tuesday, April 10.

The membership selection process began in late February, when sophomores and juniors with a 3.75 or higher cumulative GPA were invited to complete the resume form highlighting their school and community involvement. Potential members were also required to submit an essay explaining why the FPC chapter would benefit from their membership and obtain a recommendation letter from someone outside the school.

Fifteen of the 24 applicants were invited for membership. Those students are McKenzie Bowles, Melissa Boyles, Matthew Chumaceiro, Jeyda Deniz, Kahlee Fann, Daniel Gerhard, Turrel Mathews, Maha Muneer, Kerry Norberg, Kimberly Pereira, Melody Sivri, Linsey Smith, Sabrina Sorrentino, Alexander Starovoitov and Aurelia Wilcox.
