Austin Outdoor, a Yellowstone Landscape Group company, expanded its Florida presence on June 24 through a merger with Acorn Landscaping, a commercial landscape maintenance firm headquartered in Port St. Lucie.
Acorn Landscaping has been led by founder Tom Krol since 2005. This acquisition allows him to focus on his main area of interest: managing field operations. He will become a senior account manager for the Austin Outdoor Southeast Florida district.
The merger also broadens Austin Outdoor’s Southeast Florida district, which has branch locations in Port St. Lucie and West Palm Beach. The southeast district is one of Austin’s four district locations, including Northeast Florida, Central Florida and East Central Florida.
