In collaboration with the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce, Splash Car Wash proprietors Torrey Medina and his partners Steve Schlossberg and Ty Lohman hosted a grand opening and ribbon cutting of their third car wash – Splash Express Full Service Car Wash — located at 55 N. Nova Road in Ormond Beach on Thursday, April 18.
Ormond Beach City Commissioners Harold Briley, Travis Sargent and Susan Persis attended the event, which included refreshments from neighboring Chicken Salad Chick, tours of the new facility, a free car wash for attendees and free car wash giveaways, grand opening membership specials, and a live radio remote with 95.7/WHOG, according to a press release.
“We were grateful to be able to showcase our state-of-the-art facility to the public this week,” Medina said. “Steve and I have visited multiple car wash locations across the U.S. and are excited to bring the very best of what we’ve discovered right here to Ormond Beach.”
The new express full service wash offers a self prep area with water, soap, sponges and brushes so customers can treat bugs and bird droppings before entering the car wash tunnel. After exiting the tunnel, customers have the option to use the shaded free vacuum bays with compressed air, free towels, free window cleaner, free mat washers, free rubber mat washing sinks, free tire inflators, or let the Splash team do it for them in Ormond Beach’s only full service interior detail tunnel. In this tunnel, vehicles are loaded onto a belt drive system allowing the Splash team to clean mats, windows, door jambs, dashboard, consoles, cup holders, and vacuum in 10 minutes or less.
The Ormond location is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
