The inaugural Ormond Beach Unplugged Songwriter Festival filled The Casements with the sound of acoustic music on Saturday, Sept. 26.
Over 70 acoustic acts performed in 10 stages spaced out on both the grounds and inside of John D. Rockefeller's historic winter home, located at 25 Riverside Drive. Featuring bands and songwriters, both local and from out-of-state, the festival also hosted artists, vendors and a youth art exhibit.
Why unplugged? Each artist performed using acoustic instruments and sang without microphones.
The festival was presented by the Songwriters Showcases of America. According to SSA, the festival builds on the Ormond Beach Live music festival, first held in 2018 and presented for seven years.
