Suncoast Community School in Palm Coast celebrated its 14th anniversary on Sept. 10.

Students and staff turned the milestone event into an extraordinary day of fun, featuring a teacher dunk tank, a  cookout lunch, an energetic glow party, and a variety of lively games.

"Marking 14 years of dedication, growth and community spirit is a remarkable achievement," the school said in a press release. "The administration, teachers and staff express deep gratitude to every student and family who has contributed to the journey since day one. This legacy of learning and connection continues to grow stronger, paving the way for even brighter horizons ahead."

FLAGLER SCHOOLS INTEGRATES KIDS4REEL

Flagler County Schools and the Flagler County Education Foundation have integrated the Kids4Reel junior fishing program into district schools.

Already active in individual schools, the partnership blends outdoor mentorship with marine education including conservation and water safety; classroom and club support; and community mentorship partnering with civic organizations.

“We have long admired Kids4Reel for their youth fishing clinics and marine science exhibits,” Flagler Schools Superintendent LaShakia Moore said. “Making them a core district program gives our students meaningful, hands-on learning experiences beyond the traditional classroom.”

Donor contributions fund the student fishing gear, marine science supplies and clinic resources. For information on how to donate, visit flagleredfoundation.org.
