The Fall 2026 ReGrow the Loop will resumes its educational programming from October to December with six programs and four educational nature walks, a press release announced.
Programs will be held in the Ormond Beach Regional Public Library auditorium and the Ormond Beach Environmental Discovery Center. Guided hikes will also be held at Tomoka State Park, Bulow Creek State Park and North Peninsula State Park.
The first fall program, "Saving Our Volusia Wildlife with Collaborative Efforts," will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 10-11 a.m., at the Ormond Beach Regional Public Library Auditorium, 30 S. Beach St. The program will be presented by Suzanne Scheiber, founder of Dream Green Volusia.
“Black Bear, Bobcats, Panthers, Gopher Tortoise, and Scrub Jays require habitat to survive in Old Florida," Scheiber said. "Volusia County is one of the most important connectors in the Florida Wildlife Corridor and is vulnerable to development pressure. Learn how collaborative efforts of Dream Green Volusia and the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation are working to protect habitat in Volusia County. Find out about the areas of opportunity that remain for land conservation and how advocacy for policy and funding makes a difference. There is a collective commitment to address the most urgent challenges facing the corridor.”
Program admission is free.
ReGrow the Loop is part of ReGrow Volusia, a county-wide initiative run by the Volusia County Environmental Management and Resource Stewardship. Through the initiative, residents learn how to adopt sustainable environmental practices and demonstrate commitment to nurturing the local ecosystem.

Educational trail walks are scheduled in areas around The Loop.
Programs will be presented by Katie Tripp, of Natural Beauty Native Florida landscapes; Joan
Tague, of Halifax River Audubon; Leslie Nixon, of the Pawpaw Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society; and Suzanne Scheiber, founder of Dream Green Volusia.
