The UWF has primarily focused on providing college scholarships for young women attending Flagler County high schools, Daytona State College and Flagler Technical College. UWF has also provided financial support to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, Family Life Center, Flagler Cares, Habitat for Humanity and other local organizations.

Here is what some community partners say about UWF:

“Their generous support of Take Stock in Children and local scholarships has helped remove financial barriers, inspire students to pursue their educational goals, and create brighter futures.”

— Teresa Rizzo, executive director of the Flagler County Education Foundation

“Through their longstanding partnership with the Daytona State College Foundation, they have opened doors of opportunity for countless Flagler County students.”

— Kristen Hanson, executive director of the Daytona State College Foundation

“Your investment represents more than financial support—it is an investment in hope, confidence, and opportunity.”

— Patricia “Trish” Giaccone, Ph.D., LMHC, Chief Executive Officer, Family Life Center

“The Dolly Parton Imagination Library of Flagler could not succeed without the dedication of extraordinary community partners like the University Women of Flagler. Through this partnership, more than 15,000 books have been delivered directly into the homes of children from birth through kindergarten entry.”

— DJ Lebo, chief executive officer of Early Learning Coalition of Flagler and Volusia

“Flagler Technical College would like to extend a sincere thank you to the University Women of Flagler. Scholarships for Career and Technical Education do more than just pay for tuition; they bridge the gap between passion and financial independence. Happy 20th anniversary, and thank you for supporting the women of Flagler!”

— Renee Swaggerty, Flagler Technical College
