Dear Editor:
The agreement to purchase the land in Town Center raises some questions. Out of 259 acres only 96 are usable. If Palm Coast Holdings LLC bought 150 acres of unusable land why would the city buy that land back?
The big question is how is the city going to sell the land without any water and sewer system? If the city is going to magically make water and sewage available why can’t they just do it now?
With the amount of expansion going on, the capacity is not going to just appear somehow. Seems to me that the city will be stuck with these parcels just like Palm Coast Holdings LLC is now.

Editor's Note: Here is the city of Palm Coast's response to the above letter:
The fact that additional infrastructure is being planned and constructed does not mean water and sewer capacity is unavailable today. The City is planning and investing in infrastructure to meet the current and future needs of our community.
Capacity is evaluated as part of the development review process, and no developments have been rejected by a regulating authority based on available water or sewer capacity.
