A Palm Coast billiard room has expanded to a new city: Ormond Beach.
Cue Note Billiard Room will celebrate its grand opening and ribbon cutting for its Ormond Beach location, located at 1140 W. Granada Blvd. from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3.
“[We] just want to have a good parking lot party, but also have everybody come in and experience the pool bar,” said Celina Polverino, general manager of both the Ormond Beach and Palm Coast locations.
Cue Note offers 15 pool tables, three simulator golf bays, including one with multi sport options, billiard league play, two soft-tip dart games, a full restaurant menu and liquor bar.
“I think Cue Note offers a different type of pool hall environment,” Polverino said. “It’s not like your hole in the wall [with] bar tables, smoky situation. We take a lot of pride in our pool tables. We clean them weekly, and we clean our balls and just put an extra level of pride into our billiard room.”
Cue Note is hoping to attract people of all ages. Only on Fridays and Saturdays after 10 p.m. do you have to be 21 and up to be at the venue.
“But before that you’re good,” Polverino said. “[Also,] Sunday through Thursday you’re good.”
Customers have enjoyed the venue during the soft opening.
“It’s been really, really, really good,” local Crystal Jackson said. “Drinks have been good. I like the pool. I like the service. The service is really nice. I normally go to the Palm Coast location.”
Cue Note Palm Coast is located at 160 Cypress Point Parkway, in City Market Place.
Now, pool enthusiasts will have two pool billiard rooms in the area. So, which location is better? One customer has cast her vote.
“I’ve been to both locations,” customer Mallory McGuigan said. “The vibe here is amazing so I definitely travel down here all the time just to come and hang out with all the crew.”
