Get ready to shop, sell and explore Florida’s scenic East Coast as the Super Scenic 150 Mile Garage Sale returns for its 18th year on Saturday, Nov. 21, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Organized by the Friends of A1A Scenic & Historic Coastal Byway, Inc., the annual event brings thousands of bargain hunters to participating homes, businesses and community locations stretching 150 miles on State Road A1A from Fernandina Beach south to Ponce Inlet through Nassau, Duval, St. Johns, Flagler and Volusia counties.
The route includes four Florida Scenic Highways — the A1A Ocean Islands Trail, A1A Scenic & Historic Coastal Byway, Ormond Scenic Loop & Trail and Halifax Heritage Scenic Byway. Along the way, shoppers can hunt for treasures while discovering local shops, restaurants and coastal communities.
In a press release, organizers at the Friends of A1A said, “The Super Scenic 150 Mile Garage Sale is one part treasure hunt, one part road trip and a whole lot of fun. You never know what you’ll find around the next corner, and that’s part of the adventure. It’s a great day to explore our coastal communities, support local businesses and see just how much fun 150 miles of garage sales can be.”
