Ormond Beach replaces playground at Fire Station 91

The project had been in the works since July 2025, when the commission awarded an $183,000 bid.

A new playground is now in place at Ormond Beach Fire Station 91.

The city announced the completed renovation of Fire House Park, at 364 S. Atlantic Ave., on Facebook on Tuesday, Aug. 25. 

The City Commission awarded a $183,000 bid last July to Playcore Wisconsin Inc. for the design and installation of the new playground. The project was included in the fiscal year 2024-2025 budget and funded using dollars from the city's Facilities Renewal and Replacement fund.
