Sherry and Stephen Bolding of Lake Success Drive have been chosen at the Garden Club at Palm Coast's Garden Selection of the Month for September.
Moving down from Georgia in 2021, the Boldings brought their passion for beauty and creativity to their Palm Coast home. Sherry loves English gardens but now is trying on French garden style and trying different shades and textures of green.
Their large front gardens feature sculptured beds adorned with various plants, including caladium, Texas sage, ornamental pineapple, Iris, bird of paradise, coral cactus, firecracker, red crape myrtle, black diamond crape myrtle, mimosa tree and blue daze.
Heading towards the back you encounter butterfly bush, iris, canna lilies, purple mandevilla, purple salvia, foxtail fern, and amaryllis. azalea, sunshine ligustrum and coreopsis.
The back yard welcomes you to a tranquil sitting area facing a little pond with red crape myrtles, alternanthera, plumbago and pink roses. The Boldings' garden reflects their creativity, dedication and love for nature.
The Garden Club meets monthly on the second Monday of the month at 10:30 a.m. at the Palm Coast Community Center.
