Art League of Daytona Beach to host exhibition by Denise Vezza Maggiore

On Sunday, Aug. 30, from 1-4 p.m., the Art League will host an opening reception for 'Visionary Realms.'

A new exhibit will open soon at the Art League of Daytona Beach.

On Sunday, Aug. 30, from 1-4 p.m., the Art League will host an opening reception for "Visionary Realms," an exhibition by artist Denise Vezza Maggiore. According to an email to the Observer, the exhibition "offers visitors an opportunity to experience her distinctive artistic vision through a collection of work that is imaginative, expressive, and visually engaging."

Maggiore is based in New Smyrna Beach and describes her work as a "visual journal of her spiritual adventures." Her art is on showcase at Galerie Elan in Daytona Beach and she is a member of the Art League of Daytona Beach, Artists' Workshop of New Smyrna Beach and the St. Augustine Art Association.

The "Visionary Realms" exhibition will run through Sept. 25. The Art League is located at 433 S. Palmetto Ave., Daytona Beach.
