Election Day for the 2026 Primary Election is today, Tuesday, Aug. 18.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Before heading out to vote, Volusia County voters are encouraged to visit VolusiaElections.gov to confirm their Election Day polling place and review their sample ballot. Voters must cast their ballots at their assigned polling place on Election Day.
“Taking a few minutes to confirm your polling place and review your sample ballot can help ensure a smooth voting experience,” said Supervisor Lewis. “We encourage every eligible voter to Be Election Ready, bring your photo/signature ID and make their voice heard.”
Voters who still have a completed vote-by-mail ballot should be aware that voted vote-by-mail ballots cannot be returned to Election Day polling places. Completed ballots may be delivered directly to the Volusia County Supervisor of Elections Office, located at 1588 N. Woodland Blvd. in DeLand.
A voter may surrender their vote by mail ballot and vote at their assigned polling location.
All Volusia County voters, regardless of party affiliation, may have items to vote on in this election
