Johnson named new Matanzas High School principal

The following is adapted from a press release from Flagler Schools:

Dr. Earl Johnson has been selected as the new principal of Matanzas High School.

Johnson is coming to Flagler County from Volusia County Schools, where he began his career in education in 1989.

Johnson has been a mathematics teacher, an assistant principal, and most recently the principal of Turie T. Small Elementary School, in Daytona Beach. He has 20 years of administrative experience, nine years as an assistant principal at the high school level, and 11 years as a principal at the elementary school level.
